As part of its artistic programming, the House of Beau art gallery is pleased to present, in its new space at Mega Mall in Rabat, the work of three talented artists from the National Institute of Fine Arts in Tetouan: Khadija Jayi, Sanae Arraqas and Safaa Erruas. Each developing a unique visual language that arouses keen interest in the art world, the three artists share a common trait in constantly exploring the delicate medium of paper to infuse it with ingenious possibilities of meaning and inject unique narratives.
Cut, burned, or diverted from its usual function as a surface intended to depict an image, this material, often perceived as fragile and vulnerable, transforms into the very essence of their artistic creations and serves as a medium for impactful discourse.
The exhibition provides an opportunity to discover the distinctive work of these three artists through the various treatments they subject paper to, thus revealing the profound resonance between artistic creation and the aesthetic reflections of each of the three artists.
The exhibition will take place from January 20th to February 18th, 2024, in our space located on the 1st floor of Mega Mall in Rabat.
