Gardens of the Soul, Landscapes of Morocco is an invitation to feel fully. Each work is a seed sown in the soil of the eye, a call to contemplate, with heart and soul, the dear Morocco that surrounds us
In this holy month of Ramadan, when time stands still to let the soul open up to contemplation, the House of Beau Gallery in Rabat invites you to discover its new collective exhibition: Gardens of the Soul, Landscapes of Morocco, a celebration of the vivacity of Moroccan landscapes and imaginations.
An exhibition that brings together artists who have long feasted on colour and form, to present us with a garden of singular works. A pictorial rhapsody that awakens the senses, drinking in the essence of the setting and our experience of it.
From Jacques Majorelle to Henri Pontoy, via Chaïbia Talal, Abbès Saladi and Fatema Hassan Farouj, among others, all have dipped their brushes in the essence of Morocco: its senses and its light. Through their works, nature has become a verb and emotion a landscape. The meticulous works of Abbès Saladi, imbued with symbolism, reveal secret gardens at the crossroads of bodies and minds. Chaïbia Talal's works celebrate the artist's raw élan, honouring the popular Moroccan soul. As for the vibrant colours and generous shapes of Fatema Hassan Farouj, they evoke a lush garden, where nature and its components dance freely.
From scenes of traditional life to verdant gardens and mountain landscapes, the works on show open a window on a plural Morocco, which is conjugated in all tenses.
