Born in Tangier in 1978, where she currently resides, Najoua pursued her higher education at the International Institute of Tourism. For several years, she devoted herself to the tourism industry. With a passion for travel in all its forms, she furthered her studies in sophrology and discovered painting, swiftly adopting it as a profound means of expression and connection. As a self-taught artist, her painting is free from any art movement. However, she leans towards calligraphy, particularly Arabic lettering, embracing its subtlety and splendour.

Najoua leads her life as a quest for harmony between the sacred tradition of a world brimming with spirituality and modernity. Her art is the result, expressed through the boldness of forms where the light of letters glides and sometimes the discreet presence of matrices of all manifestations. Through her canvases, the language of the world unifies and reflects, revealing what remains invisible to our eyes. Within the colours that undulate to the point of vibration, hides her subtle love for life and the art that emanates from it. In the interweaving of curves and letters, the body falls silent, and the spirit finds repose.
